For me, that’s a big breath of fresh air."- Sunrise LeaderThe Regional Director of Resident Care is responsible for providing overall leadership for the health and well being of residents within a group of Sunrise Senior Living communities.RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONSResponsibilities:Specialized clinical resources to community Health Care Coordinators (nurses) and assists Area Managers in the delivery of resident care

Quality monitoring of services, training, regulatory compliance and implementation of resident care policies, forms and systems

Coaching and mentoring the Health Care Coordinators and provides strategies for nurse retention

Develops and maintains relationships with resident care vendors and professional organizations as part of the nurse recruitment strategy and networking

Qualifications:A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Professional Nurse and maintains a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) per state regulations

At least two (2) years nursing management experience in assisted living, home health, skilled nursing or long term care environments

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Competent of current and evolving state and federal laws effective provision of care to residents

Ability to effectively partner with team leadership and dynamics

Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Demonstrates effective training skills, effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications

Able to travel within a geographic area or on assignments with Sunrise

Demonstration of competence in assessment skills and know how to recognize and implement the standards that protect brand integrity through all services

Competent in organizational, time management skills
