Position Summary:

As a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab team, ensures optimal patient care and safety at all times. Performs all functions related to physiologic recording, scrubbing, and circulation within the catheterization laboratory. Uses appropriate knowledge and skills to monitor, assess, and provide nursing intervention to patients prior to, during and after invasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

· California RN License.

· ACLS certification

· BCLS certification

· Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or possess equivalentexperience.

· Good IV insertion skills.

Education:

· AA Degree

Experience:

· Must be able to work independently as well as in a precision team. Must beable to quickly adapt knowledge and skills to new situations.

Special Qualifications:

· Read, write, speak and comprehend written and verbal Englishcommunication.
