Partnered with a consumer personal care product client who has a global presence and pride themselves on being on the cutting edge of anti-aging products with heavy eCommerce and mobile apps development.

They are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) who is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE's major responsibilities are to own and lead the ART events, execution and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risks, and drive relentless improvement. As key accelerators of the Lean-Agile transformation, they coach the release trains, teams, and Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets.

Required Skills:
  • Prior client experience, preferably in an IT execution role (e.g., Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master or Agile Coach)
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean-Agile principles, metrics, and technology and/or experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Thinking, Lean Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated experience enabling teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective lean-Agile practices.
  • Ability to assess problems and solve them with a sense of urgency, motivate a team to work together, analyze and apply solutions
  • Situational awareness of when to listen & when to be assertive, thinking beyond day-to-day activities and the application of systems thinking.
