IT Automation / OPS Engineer with remote monitoring and maintenance (RMM) experience to assist in developing a robust RMM practice at a growing MSP. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing RMM solutions (preferably Kaseya VSA) and automated software deployment and management in an MSP environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automation of IT operations in an MSP (multi-tenant) environment, including but not limited to:
    • RMM agent procedures utilizing Kaseya VSA
    • Azure integration with on premise active directory
    • Management of user configurations via Microsoft Intune
  • Develop tools for onboarding new clients
  • Develop tools for onboarding / offboarding end users via tools such as Power Automate, etc.
  • Assist with level 2 support issues as needed
  • Work closely with other consultants for collaboration on client projects
  • Document IT policies and procedures
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Perform analysis and development of centralized IT operations, automation, monitoring, alerting, reporting, and diagnostic systems, tools and databases.
  • Maintain the service to ensure compliance with configurations, patches and approved designs.
  • Analyzes emergent IT infrastructure management systems and operating requirements and engineers integrated system solutions to optimize the performance and availability of IT systems.
  • Develops and implements custom solutions using programming/scripts for efficient operation and to maintain the highest availability of IT systems.
  • Install, customize, and integrate IT management, monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems (hardware and software) plus ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of those systems.
  • Other duties as needed

Experience Requirements:
  • Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows server
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Solid networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, WiFi etc.)
  • Ability to multi task and handle issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently and be resourceful in problem solving
  • 4 year technical school degree or higher preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working in automation
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must thrive in a collaborative team environment, share knowledge and enjoy creating solutions
  • Preferred: A+, Network+, or MCP certification
