Description We are seeking a Network Architect based in Santa Clarita, California. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom provider industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of network systems, ensuring the efficient deployment of routers and security cameras. Responsibilities: Design and develop network infrastructure based on industry and business requirements Ensure efficient deployment of Cisco routers and technologies Implement Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to direct packets within the network Conduct regular checks and maintenance procedures to ensure the functionality of the network system Install and configure IP cameras as part of the network infrastructure Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems to ensure minimal disruption to services Collaborate with the team to determine future network needs and plan for network changes Develop methods and tools to be used to test and implement new LAN/WAN equipment Create detailed network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. Requirements Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying network architectures Proficiency in managing and maintaining IP cameras and security camera systems Strong understanding of network protocols, software applications, and operating systems related to network architecture Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address network issues Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Familiarity with the latest industry trends, technologies and security standards Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical data Willingness to continuously improve and update knowledge and skills.
