One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a Program Manager with the following skills and experience:

MUST HAVE : BROKER DEALER/ WEALTH MANAGEMENT / FIXED INCOME INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Description 1) Collaborates with executives and key organization leaders to define the overall strategy and objectives for a group of projects to compile a program 2) Own initiating and driving major change within the organization that is in alignment with goals supportive of the defined strategy and objectives. 3) Communicates the program strategy and objectives to the project team resources and ensures that individual project goals continually align with the overall business goals and objectives. 4) Links and sequences individual projects within a program considering their inter-dependencies. 5) Identifies activities common to the component projects to ensure that project teams do not duplicate work efforts across projects within the program. 6) Coordinates multiple work streams to include team members from various disciplines to meet the overarching business goals and objectives of the program. 7) Consolidates and reports accomplishments, milestones, risks, issues, decisions from individual projects at the program level to Project Sponsors / Steering Committee. 8) Establishes appropriate mechanism and tools for measuring the benefits of the program through KPIs.

What you need to have: Strong acumen in business process re-engineering in a multiple functional area in an organization in the Financial Services industry Strong familiarity with call center front and back office operations including experience defining and leading through improvement changes Proven experience in the selection, procuring, and implementing vendor technology solutions for business process application and productivity Proven executive presence - capable of interacting with senior executives earning/retaining trust and respect Highly matured behavioral characteristics such as ethics, accountability, trustworthiness, organization / time management and flexibility / adaptability Proven experience in being organizationally savvy and thinking/acting strategically including strong analytical thinking / problem solving and decision-making skills Strong communication skills and interpersonal / interaction skills Strong ability to build / lead teams, resolve conflicts and mentor / motivate team members Strong familiarity with program/project management concepts, interactions between knowledge areas and process groups, and inputs / tools and techniques / outputs in each knowledge area Experience building and managing program forecasts and budgets Experience working on and managing multiple projects at a time of varying size (team members and budget) Program resource plan knowledge required (i.e. figure out what resources are needed to get the job done and then work with the appropriate managers to secure the resources) Strong leadership skills; manage projects while driving the organization to a successful implementation or launch Proven reliability, proficiency and success in performing program/project management tasks on high complexity program/projects, acquired through hands-on experience, by leveraging appropriate knowledge and abilities
