Bayside Solutions is currently seeking a

Research Associate/Senior Research Associate for our client located in Newark. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a clinical stage bio-pharmaceutical company. Their treatments and current studies are aimed at developing marketed injectable antibody drugs. This individual is expected to perform biological stability studies, work independently and collaboratively in support of team members, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in vitro biological matrix stability assays
  • Extract and analyze biological samples for peptide drugs and metabolites using LC/MS/MS
  • Analyze, interpret, summarize and communicate scientific data to the project teams in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain proper reagent inventories and databases
  • Assist in writing and revising technical documents including testing protocols and data reports

Requirements:

  • M.S. or B.S. in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related fields, and at least 5 years of laboratory experience in academia or industry
  • Proficiency in the following techniques: handling of tissue and fecal homogenates. Hand-on knowledge of SCIEX API 4000.
  • Proficiency with software such as GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Office etc., for data analysis and figure generation
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational, experimental data recording and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and improve new skillsets and knowledge necessary to successfully support assigned projects
  • Capability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple tasks
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members and function collaboratively in a highly productive, dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
