Research Associate/Senior Research Associate for our client located in Newark. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a clinical stage bio-pharmaceutical company. Their treatments and current studies are aimed at developing marketed injectable antibody drugs. Job description: This individual is expected to perform biological stability studies, work independently and collaboratively in support of team members, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key responsibilities:- Conduct in vitro biological matrix stability assays
- Extract and analyze biological samples for peptide drugs and metabolites using LC/MS/MS
- Analyze, interpret, summarize and communicate scientific data to the project teams in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain proper reagent inventories and databases
- Assist in writing and revising technical documents including testing protocols and data reports
- M.S. or B.S. in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related fields, and at least 5 years of laboratory experience in academia or industry
- Proficiency in the following techniques: handling of tissue and fecal homogenates. Hand-on knowledge of SCIEX API 4000.
- Proficiency with software such as GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Office etc., for data analysis and figure generation
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational, experimental data recording and time management skills
- Ability to develop and improve new skillsets and knowledge necessary to successfully support assigned projects
- Capability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple tasks
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and function collaboratively in a highly productive, dynamic and fast-paced environment
