Title: Seeking Residential Construction Estimator – Flexible Pay Structure (South Bay Area)

We are a Santa Cruz-based company expanding services throughout the South Bay (Santa Clara, San Jose, and surrounding areas), is currently seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to assist with residential projects.

We specialize in:

Minor Excavation

Demolition & Concrete Removal

Deck Building

Flat Concrete Work

Retaining Walls & Site Grading

Job Details:

The estimator will work remotely, or in-person as needed.

Scope includes performing accurate takeoffs, reviewing site conditions, writing up detailed estimates, and occasional site visits.

We provide the leads — you focus on building estimates and closing deals.

Compensation:

Pay structure is flexible: Per job, Commission-based, or Hourly — we’re open to what works best for the right person.

Ideal for freelance estimators or retired pros looking for part-time work.

Requirements:

Strong experience in residential construction estimating (preferably 3+ years).

Ability to read plans and/or perform site-based takeoffs.

Familiarity with scopes of work for decks, concrete, excavation, and structural work.

Good communication skills and ability to follow through with clients and our build team.

Reliable, self-driven, and detail oriented.
