Restoration Assistant Project Manager

Remodeling contractor located in Vista, Ca. that provides interior remodeling and exterior renovations is currently seeking a Project or Assistant Project Manager. In business since 2011, join this family oriented, friendly team. Description:Project Manager will manage reconstruction projects after Restoration company remediates water damage. Mostly residential projects but some smaller scale commercial (medical office etc.)This role is mostly :Customer Service and Homeowner focusedSubcontractor focusedWorking with Insurance companies and insurance software'sConflict resolution and problem solving 90% residential, 10% commercial MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Performs initial meeting with potential customer to sign the job, assess the damage, and begin estimate/scope writing process. After completion of the estimate then it is submitted to the customer and their insurance for approval. Works with the insurance adjuster to come to an agreed scope of work. Once the scope is approved, the customer is notified and a new contract is signed containing the actual dollar amount. It is then the project managers responsibility to coordinate the work to be done with the sub contractors while maintaining short lead times and staying within budget. MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PM is to make consistent updates to customer files within project management software. Work with office and accounting staff to coordinate payment pick ups.Approve bills from sub-contractors.Skills:construction, Xactimate, reconstruction, project manager, re-construction, remediation, water damage, residential, restorationTop Skills Details:construction, Xactimate, reconstruction, project manager, re-construction, remediation, water damage, residential, restorationAdditional Skills & Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in Reconstruction (Post Remediation and restoration of water damage) with single family Residential project experience or smaller scale commercial projects.QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: 3-5 years experience as an estimator and project manager in the water damage reconstruction industry.3-5 years experience working very closely with customers and being very customer oriented. Must be self-driven and able to work independently while maintaining productivity. Must have the ability to build their own team as their division grows. Must be proficient in estimating software. Other: Must be proficient with Xactimate estimating software.
