The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) of Community is a key leader at Vuori, partnering with the General Manager to drive sales performance, elevate the customer experience, and develop a high-performing team. This role is centered on building meaningful customer connections while authentically representing Vuori’s brand values through strong product knowledge and a positive, engaging approach.Beyond core retail leadership, the ASM of Community is instrumental in shaping and executing community-focused initiatives that position the store as a destination for both shopping and shared experiences. By connecting with the local community and bringing the brand to life through impactful activations, this role helps drive customer loyalty, engagement, and long-term store success.Beyond community leadership, you deeply understand how systems within our business impact one another and uphold all product operations and visual merchandising SOPs and working routines. You inspire and grow high-performing teams, foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and empower your people to consistently deliver results across all of our retail priorities. Community Lead the planning and execution of community programs that connect the store to the local fitness, wellness, and lifestyle community. Partner closely with the HQ Community Manager to develop, evolve, and execute initiatives that align with brand standards and support business goals.  Represent Vuori with authenticity and professionalism in the store, at team sweats, and at community events. Ensure every community touchpoint reflects the Vuori brand, values, and customer experience standards. Build and maintain strong relationships within the local active and wellness community through consistent participation in team sweats, events, and partnerships. Lead community as a core part of the store’s culture, ensuring every team member understands their role in delivering exceptional community experiences. Inspire and engage the store team to take ownership of community initiatives, driving excitement, accountability, and consistent execution. Represent Vuori with authenticity and professionalism in the store, at team sweats, and at community events. Ensure every community touchpoint reflects the Vuori brand, values, and customer experience standards. People   Support the General Manager in promoting a culture of excellence, emphasizing open communication, trust, respect, punctuality, accountability, and commitment to role responsibilities among staff members. Partner with the General Manager to implement hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training, development, engagement strategies for store employees   Champion a safe and healthy work environment by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards or risks, and implementing best practices and safety protocols.  Customer Experience Take proactive ownership of the sales floor and sales team to ensure that customer experience remains the top priority, fostering a customer-centric environment where every interaction is meaningful and memorable. Empower employees to make decisions and resolve customer issues independently, while providing guidance and support as needed. Product Assist in the implementation of product operations initiatives to enhance efficiency in inventory management and product handling. Lead the execution of daily and weekly product operations tasks, including inbound and outbound product shipments, role modeling and upholding Vuori’s SOPs. Assist in the implementation of visual merchandising initiatives, including new product flips, mannequin looks, in season product management, and overall in-store standards. Finance & Labor Assist the General Manager in schedule and labor management, adhering to all company scheduling best practices and applicable local and state labor laws  Assist in management of store expenses, fully utilizing allocated budget to recognize team performance and drive business results.
