To learn more go towww.dignityhealth.org/FrenchHospital.ResponsibilitiesIn keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center philosophy, the Interventional Cardiology Registered Nurse is an experience practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing, patient care and the ability to practice independently. Also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Current or within previous 2 years, work experience in Critical Care (CCU) primarily in Cardiovascular specialty, Emergency Department (ED), or cardiac catheterization services department or interventional radiology department. Exceptions made in case by case basis.

Current Unencumbered California RN State License

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).

Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Angiographic and/or scrub experience desired with CCL, Electrophysiology Lab (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Cath Lab Experience is preferred.

American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) CCRN™ certification.

Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) certification (and/or) CCI Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
