The DEMS CN I carries out emergency nursing-specific patient care assignments based on demonstrated competency and implements the nursing process in the DEMS setting for individual patients and/or groups. Registered Nurse Graduate

Current California Registered Nurse license.

Current BLS ACLS & PALs certifications.

Completion of DEMS competencies required within one (1) year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year of emergency work experience preferred.

Spanish speaking experience preferred.
