Current employees are not eligible.Position Summary:The L&D Registered Nurse provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach in the family birth center. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.The Registered Nurse shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Methodist Hospital and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.#RN@DHQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Current California RN license required

One (1) year of experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby within an acute care setting required

Current Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

Current BLS and NRP certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
