We are a leading medical research network conducting a clinical trial focused on advanced wound care therapies. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes through innovative treatments and rigorous scientific study. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner skilled in debridement procedures to join our dedicated clinical trial team part-time.

Job Summary:

The RN or NP will perform debridement procedures on clinical trial participants in accordance with the study protocol and ethical guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for contributing to groundbreaking medical research.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Debridement Procedures: Safely execute debridement techniques as outlined in the clinical trial protocol.

Patient Monitoring: Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes.

Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical trial team, including physicians and coordinators, to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Patient Education: Provide clear instructions and support to patients regarding wound care and post-procedure guidelines.

Compliance: Adhere to all institutional policies, state and federal regulations, and ethical standards related to clinical research.

Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract

Hourly Rate: $75 - $80 per hour

Qualifications:

Education: RN, BSN or NP

Licensure: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.

Experience: Experience in wound care and debridement procedures.

Certifications: Wound Care Certification (WCC), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or equivalent is highly desirable.

Skills:

Proficient in sharp debridement technique.

Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines is a plus.
