One California (https://youtu.be/RrPuiSnALJY?si=pvQgPZ6ZWZM60TPV)ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:A Room Support performs routine patient care activities and related non-professional services in the care of the sub-acute acute and critically ill patient under the direction of the R.N. circulator and first line supervisor. This position treats/cares for patients of all ages.QualificationsMinimum:

Has a minimum of one year Operating Room experience or one years experience in general hospital setting

Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR card

Certification in medical terminology course; must pass medical terminology equivalency test

Must have legible handwriting knowledge of spelling grammar and basic arithmetic

Demonstrate skills in dealing with the public and telephone courtesy

Demonstrated skill in patient transfers to wheelchairs gurneys etc.

Skilled in proper use of body mechanics

Self motivated; able to initiate tasks as instructed
