POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales and Client Relations Representative leads the client acquisition process from first contact through project handoff, ensuring each client experiences Flor Landscaping’s high standard of service. This role bridges design and construction, managing communication, scope alignment, and scheduling while driving sales performance and revenue growth. The position requires proactive communication, disciplined follow-up, and a deep understanding of outdoor living design, landscape enhancements, and construction.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Respond to new leads within 3 hours of inquiry, and perform discovery calls to assess client goals, needs, and timelines.
Schedule consultations — virtual or in-person — based on project scope.
Qualifying and advancing leads to the design or bid stage.
Maintain consistent communication and follow-up until the deal closes.
Prepare and deliver proposals within 3 business days of consultation, working with other team members.
Close qualified leads and secure signed contracts.
Hand off projects to the operations team with complete and accurate documentation.
Coordinate closely with the Design Manager and Project Manager for smooth transitions.
Track and update all opportunities, notes, and activities in Jobber and Buildertrend.
Identify referral opportunities and maintain positive relationships with partner vendors.
Continuously improve sales processes through feedback and data insights.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
GED or High School Diploma required; BS in Business (Preferred)
Minimum (2) years of experience in sales, preferably in landscaping, construction, or design/build
Minimum (2) years of progressive leadership experience
Current State Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record required
Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles (Preferred)
Experience with Buildertrend, CRM systems, and basic estimating tools is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in enclosed environments exposed to certian elements
Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
Ability to work both indoors (office or home office) and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
