Sales + Delivery Representative
Position Summary:
The Sales + Delivery Representative will develop a healthy sales territory while ensuring timely, accurate deliveries of our products. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills who can build rapport with clients, merchandise products in the field, and ensure top-tier customer service. From bar and restaurant sales to festivals and account deliveries, you’ll be a key brand ambassador for Gilman Brewing Company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build and manage a comprehensive sales territory of bars, restaurants, and retail accounts with a primary focus on the development of off-premise chain accounts.
Deliver pre-sold beer orders accurately and on time.
Monitor/maintain inventory, cooperage, merch (tap handles, etc) tracking via Ekos software.
Conduct regular sales calls and follow-ups at accounts to expand relationships and increase sales.
Merchandise product in accounts, ensuring correct placement and freshness.
Assist with the development of sales and promotional materials including weekly sales outreach emails.
Maintain daily timekeeping log; track daily activities using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Ekos)
Communicate account feedback and territory insights to the production and management teams.
Follow brewery and delivery safety protocols associated
Secondary Responsibilities:
Partner with marketing and events team to execute brand activations.
Explore and implement new sales initiatives and territory improvements.
Assist with new territory launches, crew drives, and market blitzes.
Package or re-package beer as needed; assemble orders when needed to assist production team.
Represent Gilman Brewing Company at on- and off-premise events (e.g., tap takeovers, festivals).
Invoice accounts, collect payments and assist in A/R collection when needed
Pick up and deliver raw materials or products between company locations.
Perform draft line cleaning and troubleshoot draft systems as needed.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
1–2 years of industry experience in beverage sales or distribution preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework a plus.
Excellent knowledge of the local bar and restaurant scene.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Able to calculate basic financials (e.g., discounts, commissions).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); able to use digital timecards and email.
Valid driver’s license; experience operating delivery vehicles and hand trucks.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly climb and balance Regularly lift up to 60lbs; regularly move (using handtruck or assistance) up to 150 pounds.
