Salesforce Development Manager

Salesforce Development ManagerWe have an immediate need for a Salesforce Development Manager to join a private university in Irvine, CA for a full-time permanent position that is hybrid with 2 days remote. The Manager will oversee a core Salesforce team of 5 plus an offshore development team (normal business hours). This is a hands-on role that will require 25% development as well as code reviews.

Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)

This Job Pays: $160,000 plus 10% bonus

What You Will Do:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, triggers, batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs
Work collaboratively with other department leaders such as business analysis, project management, infrastructure, and security
Be the go-to expert, utilizing your Apex, Visualforce, triggers, batch Apex, and Salesforce API skills to configure Salesforce and develop top-notch Lightning Components
Your mastery of asynchronous processes, integration concepts and functional knowledge of Tibco/Scribe or similar Enterprise Service integration technologies will be the driving force behind our success
Perform code review
Manage the deliverables for off-shore team
Train team members

What Gets You The Job:

8+ years of experience programming on the Salesforce platform
3+ years of experience managing and leading Salesforce development teams
Proficient in developing Salesforce Lightning Components
Experience in Salesforce security model such as roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
Strong hands-on knowledge in writing highly optimized and bulkified Apex triggers and Classes
Understanding of algorithmic techniques, design patterns, and best practices
Knowledge/experience with web services (REST / SOAP)
Database experience writing queries in SQL/SOQL
Strong team player, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
