Please find below the job description. Position: Salesforce Release Engineer Location: 100% REMOTE (Work in PST Hours) Job type: Full Time Employment Salesforce Release Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Participate in release management/technical sessions to design technical solutions that are aligned with organization's continuous integration process.
  • Coordinate deployment process between multiple development streams.
  • To facilitate the promotion and deployment of configuration within the Salesforce application using a variety of metadata and record data tools.
  • Guiding best practices around environment management and security models while executing a release strategy.
  • To align the internal teams to a release schedule that fits the overall project management strategy
  • Execute the deployment of configuration including metadata, record data, and manual configurations throughout a Salesforce environment structure
  • Implementation of DevOps architecturs using various industry-standard commercial tools, Copado experience will be an added plus.
  • To be subject matter expert on projects pertaining to org structure, CRED, timeline, deployment tools, and overall release success
  • To work with Salesforce development teams and is responsible for ensuring the stability of Salesforce platform, environments, and releases
  • Good understanding of Salesforce product release schedule (Winter, Sprint and Summer) and manage org release schedule.
  • Create and manage multiple development environments and establish seamless deployment process between lower and higher environments.
  • Build and manage the execution of deployment plans to ensure a best deployment and release processes are delivered
  • Deploy and support mobile applications (Salesforce 1 or Hybrid).
Salesforce Release Engineer Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience on Code migration, Release Management on Salesforce platform using Git/Jenkin and DevOps tools
  • 8+ years of Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Ant Salesforce Command Line Interface or Salesforce Devops tools such as Capado, AutoRABIT or Gearset Experience with Agile software
  • 5+ Years of experience on Code Migration and Release Management on Salesforce Lighting
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin and Developer)
  • Ability to design and optimize deployment process and implement continuous integration (Jenkins, Git).
  • Transfer components between various test and developer environments, which are outside the scope of changesets (with Git as a source of truth)
  • Minimum 5 years Salesforce platform and continuous integration (CI/CD) experience
  • Good understanding of Salesforce product suite.
  • Direct configuration experience using Salesforce point-and-click developer interface
  • Understanding of the Salesforce data loader for data migration activities in Salesforce
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
  • Knowledge of Salesforce release management processes Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working with technical teams and management.
