Satellite Sustainment Engineer

Provide engineering support to the LM FE&I Factory Tech Advisor (FTA) team at the satellite factory in Sunnyvale, CA providing sustaining engineering support for on-orbit satellite operations, including satellite and subsystem health and status assessment and anomaly resolution support. Focus on data collection and manipulation and development of tools to improve efficiency of these tasks. Additional tasking to include scheduling, closed area security management, safety, status and reporting, knowledge retention program, and SharePoint file maintenance.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Secret Clearance.

• AEHF/Milstar or other satellite system knowledge.
• Excel, Matlab and/or Python proficiency.
• SharePoint.

• Support satellite operations, data retreival and analysis
• Support satellite operations scheduling
• DoD Secret Security Clearance. Operations or testing background

• Experience in data analysis
• Knowledge of Matlab, Excel and/or Python
