SCADA Expert

Berean Group is seeking an

• Diagnosing & correcting issues on the OASyS 7.7 SCADA Master System software across all federated sites
• Maintaining the OASyS software system by installing both Microsoft and OASyS fixes
• Advising and assisting the customer to provide display changes and answering questions about system operability
• Assisting other teams in diagnosing & correcting communication issues with field devices from the SCADA system side
• Developing reports on corrected issues and other KPIs on a weekly basis to both customer and Client management
• Documenting recommended business practice changes with the customer
• Restore system functionality during events that cause downtime of the OASyS SCADA system
• Communicate with other SE groups delegating non-SCADA software items to the appropriate owners

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or engineering (or related field with computer emphasis)
• 10+ years of SCADA experience
• 5+ years of experience with OASyS on version 7.5+
• 3+ year of experience with OASyS 7.7+ highly desired
• Technical experience in Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) desired
• Understanding of electrical engineering principals, specifically on power systems is a strong plus
• Knowledge and experience with a strong compliment of the following: Windows 10 and Server 2016+ Operating Systems, OASyS, C, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, Perl, SQL, Networking, Diagnostic and Troubleshooting experience
• Proven capability in Software and System Development, System Integration, Documentation, Testing, Installation, Commissioning and Service Processes, and SCADA technology including an understanding of RTUs, PLCs etc.
• Experience developing end-user applications and interfaces with an object-oriented programming language, such as C# for both the desktop and web.
• Experience with SQL Server preferred.
• Experience working with electric utility companies and/or any government projects.
