- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in biological/life sciences, chemistry, biobhemistry or related field
- BS with 4+ years of relevant experience, MS with 2+ years
- Strong background in molecular biology, with hands-on experience designing, optimizing and validating NGS-based assays. IVD assay development experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of next generation sequencing based workflows including target enrichment, library preparation, and data analysis is preferred
- Ability to design and execute relevant laboratory experimentation and determine next steps within the context of overall project goals and direction.
- Accurately and consistently records all experimental data (experimental methods, materials and results) in electronic laboratory notebooks and design history files
