We have a great opportunity for a skilled Scientist to join our dynamic TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) group at our Sunnyvale or Milpitas, CA lab.The TEM Scientist will be responsible for:Partnering with team members to provide high quality analysis service to clients. Operating TEM tools to obtain TEM/STEM images, SAED, EDS and EELS data from samples.Developing TEM analysis protocols/techniques to meet clients’ requests.Creating summary reports to capture the project objectives, analysis data and interpretation of the results.A typical day would involve-Operating the TEM tools (FEI or JEOL electron microscopes) and collecting TEM/STEM images based on customers' requests.Performing elemental analysis such as EDS/EELS (collecting/process the data and creating the reports).Engaging in discussions with customers to solve their questions and concerns.Work Schedule: 5pm-2am, Tuesdays to Saturdays OR Sundays to ThursdaysShift differential will apply
