Location - SFO, CA ( Need to go 1-2 days to office) Need or Citizen PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification 7+ years of IT work experience and 3 years scrum master in an IT or software development setting Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing projects using agile methodologies, like Kanban, Lean, and especially SAFe Agile Ability to provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives to ensure scrum theory, practices, and rules are understood and enacted Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of staff and different disciplines; strong interpersonal skills; and organizational skills Ability to work independently, and perform tasks of moderate to high complexity, which requires knowledge of technical and business environments Must be U.S. Citizen or with intent to become U.S. Citizen Responsibilities: Establishes the agile framework for projects and secures agile team and management team working agreements Contributes to application development process improvement initiatives and associated documentation, and provides valuable guidance to peers based on process/product knowledge and scrum experience Increases the effectiveness of the application of scrum in the organization Runs scrum of scrums by applying the principles, values, and concepts of agile delivery and scrum methodology Supports multiple agile teams simultaneously including coordinating scrum or scrums across teams Acts as a primary communication hub between various functional departments and the application development team to foresee risks, formulate plans, and organize activities to ensure sprints are completed on time Guards the agile team from external requests and disruptions Acts as a change agent and adapts processes to maximize productivity of the team Tracks budget and hours per project / product Coaches the agile team on user story sizing and acceptance criteria definition Removes impediments for the agile team Coordinates and facilitates sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, and retrospectives Works with Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog health and prepared for execution Develops metric reports on project status, schedule, and agile metrics such as velocity and cycle time
