Note : In-person for Locals / Video interview for Non-Local candidatesWe are seeking 2 career SDETs for our Irvine, California client with the expertise and passion for architecting test software automation frameworks, taking part in the complete software development to include sensor integration, as well as the test software automation process. Primary Tech Stack: C/Python, SQL.

Required Qualifications:
  • Senior and Expert level: 5+ years of experience developing test automation tools using C or Python and any SQL (MongoDB/SQL).
  • Experience with interfacing with hardware, device drivers, and firmware.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science.
  • Software development, including back-end and front-end development.
  • Development experience with C or Python requiring

    integration with hardware using for example Data acquisition systems (DAQ) or sensors; any software dev background that integrates with hardware.
  • Experience in architecting test automation software and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like web, mobile, and desktop.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Software Engineer in Test professional who can work equally and effectively in both

    development and

    test automation
  • Architect the test software automation framework and take part in complete software development as well as the test software automation process.
  • Interface with the production, and manufacturing organizations and understand their manual and automation workflows, and pain points, identify use cases, and document.
  • Create requirements, plan, design, develop, test, and deploy test automation software tools incrementally in short periods.
  • Document the end-user workflows and the tool usage steps and create training.
  • Generate metrics and follow up to make sure the tools are meeting the user requirements and implement changes accordingly based on the feedback from the users and the metrics.

Desired Skills (Optional):
  • Development experience with React, Typescript, and Node.js.
  • Master’s Degree.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA: $125,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
