Job Title: SeamstressJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Seamstress to operate both single and double-needle automatic industrial sewing machines. The role involves setting up machines, controlling and adjusting machine settings, feeding raw materials into semi-automated machines, inspecting parts with precision tools, and testing machine operations periodically. You will be responsible for fixing issues that arise during your shift and checking outputs for machine-related flaws. Hours are 9am - 5pm.Responsibilities
Use both single and double-needle automatic industrial sewing machines.
Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to start production cycles.
Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed.
Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
Test the operation of machines periodically.
Fix issues that may occur during the shift.
Check outputs to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a machine operator.
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
Understanding of production procedures.
Adherence to health and safety regulations, including constant use of protective gear.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using automatic industrial sewing machines.
Must be able to pass sewing tests on both single-needle and double-needle machines.
