Description We are searching for a SEC Reporting Manager in Milpitas, California. The role involves the management and review of SEC filings and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and review the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reports. Guarantee compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit and review processes. Explore and dissect complex accounting issues and provide guidance on the application of GAAP and other relevant standards. Develop and uphold accounting policies and procedures. Keep abreast of new accounting pronouncements and evaluate their impact on the company’s financial statements. Execute in-depth financial analysis to back business decisions and identify areas for improvement. Offer technical accounting guidance for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Aid in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors. Certify the company’s financial reporting processes and internal controls are effective and compliant with SOX requirements. Implement and monitor controls to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant field. Proficiency in SEC Reporting is mandatory. Knowledge of Technical Accounting is required. Experience with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q is crucial. Ability to handle Footnote Disclosures effectively is necessary. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy are essential. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is required. Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Must have a strong ethical stance, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
