Our aim isn’t just about improving buildings; it’s about creating perfect places that improve people’s lives.Security Service Technicians  participate in the installation and commissioning of state-of-the-art security equipment, ensuring that all systems and components are inspected, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the customer.  Why is this so important?  Our Security Service Technicians are the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help keep their building inhabitants safe.As a   Security Service Technician, you will:

System Commissioning: Collaborate in the commissioning of new security systems at customer sites, ensuring their proper setup and functionality

Documentation and Communication: Thoroughly document commissioning details and effectively communicate deficiencies and progress to relevant stakeholders

Testing and Inspection: Perform rigorous testing and inspections on systems covered by maintenance agreements to maintain peak performance

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Respond promptly to system issues, conducting troubleshooting and executing repairs to restore optimal functionality

Quality Assurance: Identify and address code and non-conformance issues to ensure systems meet required standards

Collaborative Planning: Work alongside mentors, Lead Technicians, and Team Leaders to plan tasks efficiently and effectively

You will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic Qualifications: 

Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education) and user PC/software skill, proficient in Microsoft Office 

3-5+ years’ experience installing or servicing commercial security systems 

Ability to read/understand design and construction documents

Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications: 

High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field

The pay range for this position is $58,500 - $108,700. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
