SUMMARYThe Security Supervisor is responsible for assisting Security leadership in the daily operations of the Safety and Security Department. This role will also support workers' compensation processes by responding to workplace incidents, initiating injury reports, updating claim information daily and assisting with the coordination of claims. The Security Supervisor contributes to the organization as an active business partner responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMajor areas of responsibility/management include, but are not limited to:Promptly completing tasks and projects delegated to you by Security Leadership.Maintain the department's goals and objectives.Oversee the daily operations and shift work of the Security Department.Supervise and provide direction to the security team, monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with department protocols.Respond to incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, medical aid calls, and reports of criminal activity.Assist in the investigation, resolution and report writing of security-related incidents, such as theft, vandalism, and safety violations or any other incident deemed reportable.Manage and coordinate security staff during events, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to safety policies.Workers' Compensation SupportRespond to workplace incidents involving employee injuries, ensuring appropriate documentation and timely reporting.Assist the Security leadership in initiating and maintaining workers' compensation files for injured employees.Communicate with injured employees to understand their needs and assist them in navigating the workers' compensation process.Work closely with the Security leadership to provide updates on workers' compensation claim status and help facilitate necessary follow-ups with the insurance company.Help monitor the progress of injured employees and support their return-to-work transitions.Ensure all workplace injuries are reported in compliance with company policies and state workers' compensation regulations.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSFull-time availability is mandatory for this position, this includes mornings, evenings, and overnights.Experience in security operations, including emergency response, incident management, and safety procedures.Knowledge of workers' compensation processes, including injury reporting and documentation.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to supervise and guide security staff.Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to security incidents in a calm, professional manner.Full-time availability is mandatory for this position, this includes mornings, evenings, and overnightsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience with workers' compensation claims management or workplace safety.Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding safety and workers' compensation.Experience in a supervisory role within a security or safety department.Luxury hotel experience is preferred.High level customer service and communication skillset.The pay scale for Security Supervisor is $27.00.The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.In the United States we are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
