Senior Accountant

Description We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing manufacturing organization. If you have a robust background in accounting, specifically within the manufacturing industry and a result-driven approach to work, we would like to meet you. This is a contract-to-hire position that begins immediately.Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and analysis of financial reports

Financial and accounting consultation associated to manufacturing guidelines

Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

Management of the general ledger

Evaluation of internal controls

Maintenance of company assets and records

Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards

Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of experience as an Accountant; preferably within the manufacturing industry

A solid understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles

Proficient with accounting software and proficient in data handling

Excellent analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within strict timelines

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
