Senior Accountant

Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Lakeside, California. With a focus on areas like cost accounting, payroll, and government contracts, this role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SAP, ADP Workforce Now, and month-end closing.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records in a timely manner Resolve customer inquiries and provide efficient solutions Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary Ensure the accuracy of cost accounting and job cost records Handle payroll duties, including certified payroll and workers' compensation Work with SAP and ADP Workforce Now for various accounting tasks Manage month-end closing processes Handle accounting aspects of government contracts Requirements Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software Certification in Payroll Processing Expertise in Cost Accounting Familiarity with Government Contracts Experience in Job Costing Ability to perform Month End Close activities Extensive knowledge in Payroll administration Proficiency in SAP software Experience with Worker's Compensation policies and procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
