As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.Position Overview:The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting business operations. This temp-to-hire role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of GAAP, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts in collaboration with the finance team.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and information.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings and financial disclosures.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
Support process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting department.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
