We started the People Analytics team in 2018 to help our leaders make more informed decisions on identifying and attracting talent and supporting the development and retention fo great employees. About the Role DoorDash is looking for an experienced analyst to join our People Analytics team. We're a data-driven organization, empowering local economies and our people to do the best work of their careers. You will seek data-driven insights to attract and develop great people to power and grow DoorDash. You will support and scale our people reporting within the People Team. You will work with a team of analysts and engineers to develop the tools and insights for our people and decision-makers. You'll be an advisor, consultant, project manager, technology advocate, data analyst, engineer, and security/privacy advocate.

You will report to the Senior Director, People Analytics on our People Strategy & Operations team.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will
  • Develop reporting support for the People Team, leaders, and people managers, with a focus on self-service reporting and building dashboards in Tableau
  • Lead analysis projects to build and improve the tools and use of data to inform improved people-related decisions across the organization
  • Cultivate relationships with leaders across the People team and organization to understand people needs
  • Communicate directly with the leaders who provide organizational change based on the findings from people analytics
  • Build the next version of our Self Service Platform, delivering analytics at scale. Training users and managers to improve adoption
  • Build data dictionaries and documentation to provide a knowledge base for people analytics
  • Maintain skills and education in People Analytics research, "best practices", technology, and connections with other Analytics leaders

We're excited about you because
  • 4+ years of experience in a quantitative or analytics role in a People/HR team
  • Bachelor's degree, with a focus in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in People / HR Analytics, or consulting experience in People/Workforce Analytics
  • Project management experience
  • Experience managing relationships with all partners, and working with all levels of an organization
  • Experienced presenting and working with all levels of an organization
  • Advanced visualization skills using Tableau, ability to tell a compelling story with data
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python (or R), and ETL pipelines
  • Understanding of statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) and familiarity with statistical packages
  • Experience working with survey data, text analytics, and other forms of unstructured data
  • Experience handling confidential data
  • Helpful Experience: Master's degree in I-O psychology, Workday HCM experience andTableau certification
