Description We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our team based in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in planning multiple audit assignments across various sectors, executing day-to-day audit activities, and supervising and mentoring associates. For immediate consideration, please contact Shantel Poole directly via LinkedIn or call 916-649-0832.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage multiple audit assignments in sectors such as Nonprofit, Benefits Plans, Governmental entities, and other industries. Execute the daily tasks associated with audit engagements. Supervise the entire client engagement process from commencement to conclusion, including managing the budget, planning, execution, directing staff, and finalizing financial statements. Prepare necessary financial statements, related disclosures, and management letters, ensuring quality, thoroughness, and accuracy. Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and firm management. Maintain proactive and effective communication with management, staff, and clients. Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Audit Program to perform Accounting Functions and Audit Engagements. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Craft and execute Audit Plans as an Audit Senior.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated experience with Audit Programs Familiarity with various Accounting Functions Proven track record in managing Audit Engagements Extensive knowledge and experience in Auditing Ability to develop and execute Audit Plans Previous experience in a role as an Audit Senior is preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
