job detailsjob summary:Our Client, one of the leading firms in specialty medical chemical solutions, is searching for a Senior Business Analyst. This role reports directly into the Business Analytics Project Manager and will play a key role in the company's analysis in supporting the Operations, Commercial, Finance, Supply Base and IT functions. Key areas of focus will be on data mining, Business Intelligence report tool development, forecasting, business analysis including helping lead projects around continuous improvement and system improvements and implementations.location: Gardena, Californiajob type: Permanentsalary: $100,000 - 120,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Responsibilities:Develop analyticalreporting dashboards using MS Power Platform tools (PowerQueries, PowerBI, etc.)

Help drive the analysis needed to support key metrics and non-value-added process reductions

Promote and develop reporting tools using modern technology with end-users

Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results

Collaborate closely with applications and BI development teams in Data Warehouse configurations

Working knowledge of ETL integrations, SQL Coding and MS Azure SQL stack tools

Automate and improve current manual processes for data mining & analysis throughout company

Participate as key member growing the company's business intelligence reporting infrastructure

Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance

Qualifications:Experience and Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, information systems or a related field required.

4+ years of Business Analytics experience.

ERP Experience required, involvement with ERP or CRM implementations a plus

Required Skills and Abilities:Proficient data mining and analysis skills along with an understanding of ETL/ELT processes.

Heavy proficiency in PowerBI dashboard data modeling.

Working knowledge of Data Warehouse design.

Working knowledge of ETL integrations, SQL Coding and MS Azure SQL stack tools

Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)

Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements,

Ability to thrive in a team environment

Very strong data mining and data analysis skill sets

Experience with MS Power Platform products (PowerPivot, Power BI, SQL Databases)

Ability to manage competing priorities and excellent organizational skills
