- What level of proficiency do you have with custom function development within Rave?
- Looking for high proficiency. Those who have worked on CFs but never developed complex CFs themselves will not be a good candidate.
- Have you built a Rave database from start to finish? If so, have you done both stage 1 and stage 2 development?
- An experienced builder should know what stage 1 and stage 2 within Rave are. These terms refer to either structural development (forms, fields, data dictionaries) to more programming development (edit checks, derivations, custom functions)
- Do you have experience setting up tSDV plans?
- Someone who knows this will understand that tSDV is targeted source data verification and is used for risk based monitoring. Experience setting up plans should include an understanding of blocks and tiers.
- Have you setup any plans within RTSM (formerly Balance)?
- Someone who knows this will know that RTSM is Medidata’s randomization module. They should be able to describe how randomization lists are created.
- Have you worked with any of the following modules/tools: Coder, Rave Web Services, CTMS, Business Objects 4 (again, these are nice to have but not essential)
- Communication (verbal and presentation skills) – will be interacting with stakeholders, data managers, and other clinical folks
