Senior Data AnalystIMMEDIATE NEED for a Senior Data Analyst to join an E-Commerce company in Santa Ana, CA for a full-time, direct hire position. This position is open to be remote capable within PST business hours. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SQL, Python and dashboard visualization tools.Responsibilities: - Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports
- Data mine large population of data to help identify relevant information and create data pipelines from the database to the reporting platform
- Collaborating on master data sets, including creation, updates, and removal
- Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets
- Help gather requirements, build BI reports, models, cubes, and analytical solutions
- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reports/dashboard development
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server (MySQL a plus), the inspection and use of relational databases, and understanding of SQL statements and use of reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with Python is preferred
- Advanced MS Excel functions (Pivot, Joins, Case statements)
- Experience within an importer or distributor industry is preferred
- Experience analyzing data within a digital marketing environment is preferred
