Senior Data Mapping/Test Analyst

Position Description CGI is seeking a Senior Data Mapping/Test Analyst to join our team!

You will develop and document data mapping rules, develop test plans and test cases, execute test cases and report identified defects in software.

Participate in resolution of data fallout and reconciliation discrepancies.

Will work with developers and client partners to identify and resolve issues with system changes that affect Data Conversion.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Participate in defining conversion requirements• Participate in data mapping, conversion strategy decisions, and other tasks necessary to create the Data Mapping documentation• Plan and execute conversion system test to verify software components that transform, edit and load data to the operational data stores• Participate in the resolution of data fallout and reconciliation discrepancies• Support Data Validation, Dry Run Testing, and cutover activities as assigned• Support post-conversion manual data cleanup activities based on data cleansing fallout reports

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• 3+ years in requirements analysis• 3+ years in quality assurance, test strategy, test planning, test execution• Thorough working knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and their direct implementation to projects• An independent worker that is able to prioritize own work activities with minimal guidance• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while maintaining quality requirements• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate to client and internal team members• Ability to troubleshoot testing issues and escalate appropriately

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS• Experience working on geographically spread teams and interacting with developers, team leads, and product owners on a daily basis• Experience creating, executing SQL queries• Thrive in a team environment• Customer-oriented• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications and TFS• Experience using JSON and XML formats

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $59,000-$95,000
