To this day we remain firmly committed to our mission of delivering superior investment returns, solutions, and service to their clients.We are hiring for a Senior Database Engineer with strong NoSQL, AWS, Snowflake and CI/CD experience for a contract-to-hire position. You will be providing production support, solutions and expertise for Cloud Database Platforms, partnering with several engineering teams & business units to design, develop and deploy AWS Relational, NoSQL and Data Lake architectures. Additionally, you will support performance testing and application benchmarking activities, providing recommendations and guidance for improvements to our current designs.This role is hybrid 3-days a week in our Newport Beach office. Candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, providing both development & production support, and will get to leverage their skills as the technical expert on the team.Required Skills & Experience

3 yrs. of production experience supporting Cloud Database Platforms like (Redshift, DynamoDB, Snowflake, Databricks)

5 yrs. of developing critical platform infrastructure

8 yrs. of database administration development support

Expert w/Python

Experience w/traditional relational systems: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL

Experience w/NoSQL and columnar data stores

Experience w/Version control systems, Git and CI/CD

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Mathematics or equivalent

Knowledge of and experience implementing DevOps principles

Hourly Rate:

$75 - $90/hr
