The Senior Director of Inclusion will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. Together with senior leadership, the Sr. Director is responsible for designing, developing, executing, and managing enterprise level programs that drive the business agenda and deliver an organizational culture consistent with the company’s values. S/he will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and administration of the organization’s inclusion roadmap. Specifically, the Sr. Director will drive key talent initiatives related to inclusion and diversity. This individual will take a data driven and systemic approach to formulating an integrated culture and employee experience that fosters engagement, inclusivity and belonging across the global employee community. S/he will bring an innovative and inspiring approach that helps to align employees with the company’s vision and business strategy.This position will manage a staff of inclusion/diversity professionals. S/he will partner with other corporate services partners and business leadership globally to shape, drive and deliver a meaningful and inclusive employee experience globally.The successful candidate must possess a passion for people with proven experience in developing and implementing a wide variety of programs that have a material impact on their company’s commitment to engage a global workforce. S/he must have demonstrated the ability to create and execute effective organizational strategies and transformations on a large scale, apply a deep understanding and expertise of global inclusion impact trends and collaborate comfortably with Senior Management and Executive Leadership. This must be paired with organizational savvy and analytical skills that leverage metrics to inform, influence and educate a wide range of audiences. This individual must be results oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects in a demanding, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Communications

Maintain strong working relationships with executives and managers. Proactively reach out to key managers to design and implement initiatives that deliver exceptional inclusion programs, foster a culture of inclusion and diversity, and promote employee engagement and retention.

Work with internal communications ensuring the appropriate tone and strategy are reflected in all inclusion communications. Manage and promote all communication tools that engage the global workforce and reinforce the importance of being an inclusive and great place to work. Ensure consistent experiences across internal and external employee touchpoints.

Partner with senior leadership and local HR to embed diversity and inclusion into all business processes, ensuring global alignment which allows for regionalization based on local nuances.

Develops and evolves communication strategy that provides transparency to inclusion programming.

Proactively communicate with business leaders globally at all levels to communicate program progress, trends, program impact on employees and company goals and gather feedback.

Builds relationships with key leaders to create awareness, support and advocacy for inclusion efforts.

Effectively handle escalated and sensitive conversations while balancing employee viewpoints with company values and goals.

Facilitates Inclusion Executive Committee meetings.

Inclusion

Develop a framework for assessing, implementing, training, and evaluating inclusion across the organization to ensure the company continues to attract, grow, and retain top talent.

Develop innovative ways for employees to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and educate the workforce on how they can assist in delivering a culture of openness, belonging and inclusion.

Educate and coach global business leaders throughout the company on inclusion best practices that foster a climate of respect which values diversity, builds engagement, and enhances our culture.

Partners with Marketing and Corporate Communications to develop events and networks (both internal and external) that enhance and contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Develops, maintains and enhance strategic diversity alliances globally to achieve company goals and provide networking opportunities for employees. Partner with executive sponsors on expected alliance and program outcomes that enhance inclusion goals.

Review hiring practices and HR policies to ensure they align to inclusion goals. Makes recommendation enhancements in partnership with business leaders.

Proven experience with Employee network groups and creating governance around operating procedures. Oversees activities, provides coaching and through partnership. Encourages strong collaboration with Protiviti ENGs to align on common enterprise goals.

Ensure complete and accurate data is provided for enterprise reporting needs while assessing successes and opportunities through quarterly compliance meetings.

Develop and implement training programs to further the advocacy of inclusion best practices.

Develops and partners with Corporate Communications on thought leadership pieces, blogs, articles around inclusion.

Guides and counsels Corporate and Field leadership with talking points for events and other inclusion initiatives.

Candidate ProfileEducation & Certification/ License Credentials

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.

Functional Competencies — skills, knowledge & experience

10+ years’ experience proven experience leading employee or customer/client programs in large, complex publicly traded global organizations

Extensive knowledge of innovative and cutting-edge inclusion and community practices

Successful track record of strategic planning with a focus on continuous improvement

Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets, utilize metrics and make data driven recommendation and decisions

Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and usage, and experience with systems (i.e. Workday, Cornerstone, Service Now)

Highly proficient at project management

Proven experience managing in a matrixed environment, with ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with leaders at all levels

Leadership and Talent Management

Demonstrated ability to design, implement and drive strategic vision, with a passion for excellence

Strong team player who can build and maintain an engaged team

Ability to remain calm under pressure; comfortable addressing difficult situations

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.$188,000.00 - $245,000.00We offer exceptional earning potential and a competitive benefits package, including group health insurance benefits (medical, vision, dental), FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave of up to 6 weeks, and short/long term disability.
