Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Senior Embedded Software Engineer Milpitas, CAFull Time You will be working on the design, development, and integration test of embedded device diagnostics SW for Hardware bring-up, Design Verification Test & manufacturing test and field online runtime diagnostics of wireless communication systems.

• Design embedded diagnostics software for both digital and RF hardware used in hardware bring-up, DVT, manufacturing test and field online runtime diagnostics
• Implement software modules via programming C/C and Python
• Perform unit testing, and integrate/validate the released software functionality through HW bring-up, system calibration and manufacturing test integration
  Required Skills & Experience:
• BS or MS in EE/CS with embedded software development experience and basic understanding of digital hardware
• 8+ years demonstrated experience in hardware device driver and embedded software development experience in C/C on a real-time system employing Linux and/or FreeRTOS
• Excellent proficiency in C and C programming
• Strong experience in scripting with Python, bash, etc
• Experience with source version control systems, collaboration tools
• Diagnostics software architectural design experience and/or wireless system development background is is a big plus
