15225BRSenior Engineer, Data Engineering - RemoteConcordCaliforniaJob DescriptionBig Data Engineer wanted by ZapLabs, Metropolitan Area of Concord, CAResponsibilities:Design, develop, review and maintain high performance, low latency data pipelines for real estate listing and associated real estate entities, distributed systems based on best practicestandards, which includes:-Architect high performance data ingestion pipeline using AWS infrastructure for 3rd party property, school, customer data ingestion;-Design – Design the pipelines in a scalable, cost efficient way;-Development – Implement the pipeline that transforms data from one format to other using Spark, Scala, AWS;-Test – Unit test and integration test, create automated tests for the integration pipeline; and-Maintenance and Documentation - Document the work comprehensively, ensure that pipelines are running 24X7.Build complex ETL pipelines for model deployment that processes tera bytes of data using.Create, build and maintain scalable data models, data APIs.Write clean, efficient and reusable code in Python, Scala, Java, Go, and SQL for Data Pipe lines.Utilize strong understanding of distributed system concepts, non-functional requirements including logging, monitoring, debugging, alerting, performance in order to build robust, scalabe, performant data pipelines.Interact with product owners and stakeholders for requirement analysis, mentor new members of the team in all aspects, both technical and behavioral.Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include:5 yrs. exp. with any one or a combination of Java or Scala;3 yrs. exp. with Big data technologies like Spark and Spark Streaming;3 yrs. exp with Python; and2 yrs. exp. with AWS or Cloud technologies.Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – AssociateJOB LOCATION: Company's office located in Concord, CA.
