Senior Engineer, Global eCommerce Platform

Skecher’s Digital Team is seeking a Senior Engineer – Global eCommerce Platform reporting to the Director, Digital eCommerce Architecture. As the Senior Engineer – Global eCommerce Platform, you will work with a team of digital engineers to deliver a high-powered, cutting-edge web-based application to support the rapid growth of global eCommerce running Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware). You will work collaboratively with Product Owner’s, vendors, and business stakeholder’s to develop and create enterprise-level web applications that are both scalable and robust. The ideal candidate will be a strong developer, have full-stack hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-Drive issue resolution directly, and coordinateboth internal and external resources.Work with the team in best practices for agile development including estimating stories, grooming backlog, and breaking down epics.Work with the product owner and business stakeholders to define feature requirements and set priorities.Deep understanding of Test-driven development.Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development with deep domain knowledge in Catalog / Member / Order sub-systems.Extensive hands-on experience integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with payment gateway, 3rd party search, and order management system.Ensure the quality of the platform codebase by helping to review changes.Partner with architects within cross-functional teams to discuss long-term technology strategy and provide objective information and data to help inform and drive critical technology decisions.Eliminate impediments to allow the development team to focus on their taskMentor team individuals to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs and develop their careers.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES-Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- No
