What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Assistant Director,  Food and Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Manage the day to day function of all restaurant leaders and employees, facilities, sales, and costs Controls and analyzes, on an ongoing basis, the following:Luxury level mixology and wine conceptsQuality levels of productionGuest Satisfaction Index Colleagues Engagement Survey Merchandising and MarketingOperating costs (financials)Sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene (front & back of house)Ensures optimum performance in each of the above areasSupervises, coordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverages restaurant conceptsEnsures optimal service is being provided while maximizing profit potentialEstablishes and maintains effective employee relationsEnsures proper staffing levels are maintained while balancing quality and sales with daily/seasonal staffing demandsTo conduct, under the guidance of the Director of Outlets, such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, training, on the job performance, coaching, counseling and progressive corrective action if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivityDevelops formal training program, as well as an annual training calendar, implements on the job training sessions for the restaurant employees, responsible for meeting training goalsProduces and implements creative promotional programs with their venue with the goal of boosting sales and visibility and develops annual promotions calendar in coordination with the Director of OutletsOther duties as assignedSalary Range: $79,000-$105,000 USD Gross per hourYour experience and skills include:Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred, or equivalent operational experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience as Department Head, Restaurant Manager or 2 years as General ManagerComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications and social media requiredStrong leadership skillsStrong knowledge of food & beverage product and current industry trends Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSolid understanding of Unions or Collective Bargaining Agreements an assetKnowledge of Point of Sales, Birchstreet are an asset Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Seated computer work, including constant keyboarding and mousingOccasional lifting up to 25lbsTo keep our employees and the general public safe from the threat of COVID-19 and the rise of variants in the community, Fairmont San Francisco has implemented a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.Visa Requirements:
