Senior HR Generalist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist, 6-9 months contract, Hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA (2-3 days on-site). Your role will involve managing a heavy volume of HR operations due to an acquisition, which includes onboarding and offboarding employees, answering questions about severance packages, and benefits, among others. Responsibilities: Manage the onboarding and offboarding of employees due to an acquisition. Ensure the organization's HR operations are running smoothly, especially during the relocation of employees. Answer employees' queries about severance packages, benefits, COBRA, etc. Help with recruiting efforts for sales & customer service-related positions. Collaborate with payroll and other departments to ensure a smooth offboarding process. Provide resources for resume assistance, interview coaching, etc. for the organization. Serve as the point of contact for employee questions. Ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed during the reduction or combination of employees due to the M& A. Assist in maintaining HR Compliance and knowledge of CA Labor Law. Handle the maintenance of personnel files and new employee orientation.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an HR Generalist Proven experience in Benefits Coordination Extensive knowledge of HR Compliance and Human Resources (HR) Administration Experience in Onboarding procedures and New Employee Orientation Background in dealing with Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) Proficiency in Personnel File Maintenance Proven track record in Recruiting and Terminations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
