Position: Senior Informatica Developer

Location: Irvine, CA

Job Description:

One of two long term contractors engaged to supplement internal team.
Working directly with stakeholders will require excellent verbal and written skills to document needs.
Requires high attention to detail with multiple variables.
Desire to work with business cases, preferably experienced in the same, to determine needs and design appropriate technical and ETL specifications.

Responsibilities:

Develop Informatica mappings to load source data into the data warehouse, work with data architect to design and schedule workflows.
Perform unit testing and raise issues found during testing.
Analyze and understand source data and business processes that may affect the model.
Analysis of Source system data, including data profiling.
Creates DDLs for creating/modifying database objects.
Documents Source to Target ETL Specifications.
Contribute to teams' technical knowledge by suggesting best/better practices and lessons learned (from previous jobs/workplace).
