We are hiring "Senior Informatica ETL Developer" for one of our clients. Job Title: Senior Informatica ETL Developer Location: San Diego CA 92127 (Remote Role) Duration: Long Term contract Job Description: The resource will work with the lead developer to rewrite existing database packages and procedures using Informatica (v10.4). The resource will also support existing informatica processes and will require some after hours and weekend work. Must have 8+ years of Informatica (v10+) ETL experience Experience with business intelligence tools like Cognos and PowerBI a plus Practical experience with UNIX, UNIX & LINUX Scripting, Scheduling tools preferred Strong (Expert) SQL / PL-SQL experience Experience with creating database views, procedures, triggers and sequences In-depth knowledge of Datawarehouse and data modelling concepts. Core Skills Perform advanced ETL development activities using Informatica (v10+), PL/SQL, Oracle Database (v12+) tuning, SQL tuning, Informatica Server administration Oracle experience from the development perspective (database and application), PL/SQL, Linux Informatica PowerCenter developer needed to develop and enhance ETLs from various sources to Oracle data warehouse Plan and conducts Informatica ETL unit and development tests Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, inline SQL, database structures, and ETL processes to adapt to changes in needs and requirements Design, implement, test and maintain ETL components for multiple applications Provide post-production application support as required Provide data analysis to support new project definition/design to troubleshoot/resolve issues with existing subject areas Work independently or as part of a team to deliver data warehouse ETL projects Follow established standards and best practices and provide input for improvement of those processes Makes recommendations, based on data profiling and data analysis, for changes to existing/legacy systems particularly in automated data validations Uses standard data modeling, data flow, and data documentation tools to analyze, document and present data analysis work Maintain a high volume, multi-gb data warehouse application Should you be interested, please send me a copy of your resume in Word/PDF format along with the following details ASAP.
