Find your future with us.Spectrolab, Inc ., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has an exciting opportunity available with the Spectrolab Team for a Senior Integrated Planning in our Sylmar, CA facility. This candidate will Support preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.Position Responsibilities:Duties will include (but are not limited to):Project Management
Develops and integrates project plans for deliverable hardware
Participates in establishing, monitoring, and integrating space and satellite hardware project elements and coordinates with stakeholders
Analyzes plans and reviews trend data to provide recommended changes to stakeholders
Assists or leads in studies/analysis and planning efforts within and across programs and projects to determine constraints
Support the Spectrolab managers by developing and maintaining documentation/data for various leadership presentations
Production Integration (PI) is a part of the Spectrolab Operations Team that works collaboratively with cross-functional integrated Product Teams and Programs on space and satellite hardware products in the Sylmar facility.
Your day-to-day responsibility would be to develop, collect, and analyzes schedule and status from Integrated Product Team Leads to manage factory schedules, pipelines, resource allocations, constraints, and readiness.
Develop, Maintain, and Analyze Production Pipelines
Generate and maintain hardware pipeline and resource metrics
Analyze and resolve issues between the scheduling system and production system (MS Project or Equivalent)
Capacity analysis of the factory and future business opportunities
Analyze and present production data and artifacts to key stakeholders/leadership
Analyze and help resolve schedule alignment issues between scheduling systems (MRP &/or IMS)
Resource Management – Facilities, Equipment, People
Maintain resource booking in production scheduling systems
Manage allocation and coding of resources in production schedules and systems
Review and analyze resources using resource management modeling software to identify constraints and assist the OPS Product manager in resolving conflicts or developing mitigation plans
Lean & Process Improvements
Support Project Initiatives – planning, documenting processes, and Implementation of changes or updated processes
Work with Data Analytics to create metrics and reports that support Common Products delivery of hardware
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
Experience using Microsoft Project
Experience with space hardware or satellite products or programs
Acquainted with or experience working with manufacturing planning tools
Experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, manufacturing operations, or related technical field
Understanding of or experience with production processes and standards
Proficient user of Microsoft Project Server and/or Knowledge of Boeing Project standard practice planning
Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification
Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
