The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our Identity and Access Management Team.

The IAM team is a collaborative organization across the Federal Reserve System which supports Federal Reserve Bank needs for security and compliance initiatives associated with identity and access life cycle management. The successful candidate will be a Release Manager responsible for the full release life cycle, inclusive of planning, communicating, documenting, production readiness activities and adjudication of actual release and its logistics. This team is part of a larger IAM product organization that is passionate about creating a great experience with our suite of IAM products. The candidate is a goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
  • Typically requires 7+ or more years of IT work experience, including 4+ years managing projects
  • Experience with projects involving multiple technology or functional domains
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of multiple project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
  • Implementing projects using agile methodologies
  • Leading diverse teams
  • PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification

Job Responsibilities:
  • Mature and maintain processes and procedures for documenting and reporting all releases
  • Create and maintain release artifacts inclusive of: Security Impact Analysis, communications, implementation plans, exception status, UAT and regression testing and other release specific items
  • Analyze feature release/patch proposals and identify project deliverables to determine implementation schedule and appropriate process for deployment
  • Lead Business Continuity Planning activities
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects and management to assess release risk, user impact and associated mitigation and/or communications needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with peers and stakeholders and leverage these relationships to gain buy-in and assistance in removal of roadblocks
  • Confidently represent changes to Change Board and alleviate any blockers/concerns
  • Be the primary liaison for release management
  • Work with colleagues in other areas of IAM portfolio to support release process maturity and standardization.
