Role: Sr. IT Project Manager Location: Pleasanton, CA ( Hybrid model) Type: 6-12 months+ Description: aria-hidden="true" PURPOSE: Responsible for managing project budgets, SOWs/PL for project. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Build strong working relationships with business and IT stakeholders and ensure project support and commitment. aria-hidden="true" · Product ownership of budget and backlog delivery of enhancements and issue fixes. aria-hidden="true" · Define project scope, deliverables and roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders, business partners and project team members. · Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using a mix of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. Create, monitor, and manage detailed project plan. aria-hidden="true" · Plan budgets for equipment, resources, and vendors. · Participate in the development of cost benefit analysis, associated budgets and tracking of actual costs spent vs budget and regularly reporting on project status to management. aria-hidden="true" · Assign and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on time and within budget. · Identify, analyze, prioritize, and manage project risks. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. aria-hidden="true" · Manage stakeholder communications and approvals. · Manage project related documentation like proposals, progress reports, requirements, and presentations. aria-hidden="true" · Plan and execute deployments, support handover of project and necessary trainings. aria-hidden="true" Qualifications: aria-hidden="true" · 4 year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience. Graduate degree and or Professional certification a plus · 6-8 years of Project Management experience, with an Application Development or Technical Project Management background. · Experience in Retail Systems projects is a plus. Experience in point of sale system, retail financial reporting, systems integration within a retail environment. · Ability to understand technical solutions architecture, and processes and technical detail. aria-hidden="true" · Able to effectively translate technical topics and issues into business oriented language to more effectively escalate issues and discuss when required. · Ability to do project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning and risk assessment. · Knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools (e.g. MS Project, Agile, SDLC, JIRA, etc.) with knowledge of Project Management Disciplines. · Ability to understand project planning and develop project timelines. aria-hidden="true" · Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and escalate issues that may affect delivery. aria-hidden="true" · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to collaborate across various groups, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organization. aria-hidden="true" · Strong customer service aptitude and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues. aria-hidden="true" · Knowledge of process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components in line with an organization’s business needs.
